Each week a small part is either added or subtracted from the bike. These small changes can only be measured in grams but grams add up to pounds. Brompton’s new design is damn near perfection. When you are detached from the real world, distractions count. It isn’t so much about shaving a gram here or there. The bigger picture is speed, efficiency, fun, and silliness.
My bike sits folded across from my bed. It’s a living, working piece of art. My camera bag has its rightful place as well. All I have to do is supply the power to get my broken eyes from point A to point B.

These islands make photography easy, all you have to do is show up. That’s how we arrived. One day we were in the city, the next we were scurrying all over the place securing a new (house)boat. When we were told we couldn’t live in it, we added a house to that mix. People will say you can’t. We try and find that we can.
My whole life has been a series of Greenlights, at least that’s how I see it. I can’t read but I listen to the audiobook. It was good. I have to say though, when I finished it I was like, PFT, my life has been better! Maybe because it’s mine. Winter is dying, my camera is filling with images, and my half-written book, titled appropriately, is going nowhere. I took this picture a month ago. It’s summer now. Ok, ok, it starts tomorrow.

If I say it once, I’ve said it a million times. Today has without a doubt been the best damn day of my life. These islands are exploding with green, winter is dead. We always take the long way to the boat but today we found a new even longer way. It’s hard not to want to stop every 10 feet and take pictures but that’s my job. Do they have OnlyFans for bikes? What about boats? I don’t know about all these things. What I do know is that the older I get the more I have to write and the less I care about sharing any of it.
